Bastille Day

Yes, I'm sure that you have all been celebrating Bastille Day and have got your big fireworks display primed and ready this evening. This gent is setting an example by peddling off with a colourful bunch to his beloved. I minded his bike while he was in Ashleigh's florists and in exchange he let me take the photo.

We are celebrating with a pre-ordered dinner from the Italian restaurant round the corner. I hope that you enjoy your special supper too.

Usually we would be somewhere in France on a holiday. And today is obviously a big deal for our French friends. Last year we were in a square in Alsace where the locals were out in force. What a difference a year makes.
