Sow's ear

....and, as the saying goes, you can't make a silk purse from it.  

I have no idea what it is nor when I took it.  All I know is it's the only image that was taken on my phone today and as my camera never made it out, this had to be it.  

The cold, grey dampness didn't help things much either.

In COVID news it was all zeros today - no new cases, no recoveries, no-one in hospital.
