Lockdown Cocktails ?

I have been experimenting with growing avocado plants from the stones - or rather seeds - which we usually throw away after removing the flesh.

For weeks, nothing happened. Then roots started to develop. And now, 12 or more weeks on (I never counted) seed leaf shoots are developing at the top.

A little project that would not have happened but for the lockdown. And a blip for a rainy day.
