Peeling. And Appealing.

This morning, a visit to Bluebell Cottage Nursery Garden, booked through the NGS scheme. Our slot was for one hour, only 10 people allowed in. It worked really well, the garden is a beauty. And our newest plants, planted during the lockdown, we ordered on line from the nursery,. That worked really well, Sue Beesley and crew will be getting our continued support, I will be listening to her tips on the online RHS Tatton Show next week,

After our visit we walked down to the horse bridge on the River Weaver. Our first visit since February, I think. The big field normally grazed by cattle is an amazing sight. It’s been left to grow fallow and is full of wild flowers (extra).

The blip is of farm buildings we pass, I always like the peeling paint, set against the brickwork, And at this time of year, that cottage garden favourite, yellow loosestrife. Dereliction at its most attractive, to my eyes.
