Minstrel on the Rug!

Today has been main housework day and was just as exciting as it sounds! The bathroom looks a lot better and I have done a bit of tidying up too, and done the floors - oh, bins too! 

In the process of doing that lot I went into the front room to see Minstrel actually on the rug that he has gone out of his way to avoid since we acquired it at the weekend. And he was doing that smurgling/making puddings and biscuits thing cats do when they are happy and content. He didn't stay on for very long though! He walked off seconds after I took this shot. It is the only photo I had time to take today!

I've since been and done the Tesco shop, cooked tea and washed what felt like every pot in the house! I'm ready for a rest now!
