All In (Infra)Red
A working/studying day. Annie is virtually attending the Microsoft Inspire conference (that she attended 2 years ago in Las Vegas). This means that for the next couple of days she will be working on Pacific Standard Time! Over the last two weeks, her work have completed as a team a charity challenge to virtually walk, run and cycle the 1,200 miles from Microsoft HQ in Seattle, to the usual conference venue in Las Vegas. They raised over £600 for Teach First, a UK based charity aiming to help the poorest children be less disadvantaged by home working. They "arrived" late last night, just in time for a virtual shower and beer!
Whilst Annie was joining the first sessions of the conference, I (Chris) had a walk from home, something we seem to have got out of the habit of doing since lockdown has eased. I then joined an excellent RPS webinar on infrared photography. It was really factual and inspiring. I'd taken the IR converted camera on the walk earlier so it seemed appropriate to blip an IR shot.
