Under A Shelf Cloud

This giant shelf cloud showed up while I was in the wholesale club. I was able to stay ahead of it long enough to get home to grab my camera. I took this handheld pano from the top of the driveway, just as the rain was starting. The storm was a doozy and lasted for quite a while. We have had violent thunderstorms every evening for the past several days. It is kind of surreal back in the woods here, as the thunder seems to echo off of the trees and sort of rumble around the house.
