English Larch

A big step forward for the mancave today.... The arrival of the cladding. Gulp.

It took a lot of effort to source a reputable supply, but it meant I met Phil who has been a wealth of advice and top tips and is only in the next village! The wood is all from one tree from Thirlmere, about 25 miles from us as the crow flies.  It's been stood drying for 3 years as large rough planks. Yesterday it was cut to size and today (in the main pic) planed and milled into a tongue and groove profile.
This evening it was delivered.

Now I just have to fit it.....
