Extension Tube Thursday

After yesterday's entanglement with the detail view of a cattail, I decided to use my extension tube today to get a few close up shots. I had forgotten the wonders to be explored in the minutiae of life. Of course, the downside is wind. Close up, every tiny movement is amplified.

Of the four subjects I photographed, all of which I liked, I chose the rocket to post because of its vibrant colour and how the yellow contrasts against a dark background. Cast shadows from hazy sun gave the image some dimension.

On another day I might have felt calm and made a different choice, but today I wanted uplifting.
