Day 124 Flower round up

Today is, of course, Flower Friday, hosted by BikerBear.  I have already blipped my most recent cut flowers so the garden it was.  The hardy  fuchsia in the thumbnail (Delta's Sarah) is new and is waiting to be planted in the bed where the poor weigela is still languishing.  The plant middle of the bottom row is Teucrium x lucidrys, a hedge germander, one of two which we bought at Myddleton Gardens last year.  The gardens have had to remain closed, sadly as they don't feel able to open within the lockdown safety guidelines.  I've featured two of our trailing geraniums which seem to be enjoying the weather conditions this year.  The red one which is on a windowsill in our side passage is doing especially well as you see and we can only just walk past it!  Also included are one of my favourite roses, name unknown, which has a look of a wild rose I think and one of the pansies which are just about  hanging on in the back garden.
In other news: today is the day that the face coverings rules have come into force in England.  Opinions on this remain divided and many stores have said that they will not put their staff at risk by making them enforce the rules.
