Saturday Stamps

A friend at church gave me her late father's stamp collection, and I looked through it yesterday. He didn't keep many sheets like this, but he did have many stamps, including a few foreign ones.

The price to mail a letter in the United States now is 55 cents. The price on this state flags sheet is 13 cents. I looked it up, and they were issued in 1976, making them 44 years old.

Even though they are in use no more...
they look pretty good for forty-four.
