Britain In Bloom

This is such a beautiful time of year in Britain when there are so many flowers around. Britain In Bloom is an annual flower competition for villages, town and cities, both nationally and regionally. Last year Twyford won the gold for the small town category in the Thames and Chiltern region, having won the silver for two years before that.

This is one of many baskets that hang outside many Twyford businesses. I’ve been walking back and forth to my Physio treatments in the last couple of weeks and I’ve been enjoying them all as I vary my route around the village. I never have much success with hanging baskets so I just enjoy these and concentrate on my floral pots in my own garden.
