Just an old barn...

Happiness is being proven right.. What is legal in one state doesn't mean it is legal in another. In this case it has to do with breaks and lunches. The loads are scheduled by a company in Texas using the Federal hours of service laws that allow only one 30 minute break in 14 hours however, being a Washington State driver, I must take two 10 minute breaks and two 30 minute lunches. Just like the comic books, swindle sheets and... of yesteryear, drivers did what they had to do and made it look "pretty" to safety... Today with electronic log books you can still "show it legal" by federal law but in an audit, they will clearly see the state law wasn't followed and of course that can lead to fines and...  This limits my working day to 12 hours and 40 minutes in 14 hours instead of the federal 13.5 hours of work in 14 hours.. That can make the difference of being home that night or not.

Happiness is also being proven wrong by a person willing to take the time to show why...
