Dragon Fly

Todays Blip is a BackBlip of a Dragon Fly. I hadn't intended to get the camera out again but LG loves to make use of her lunchtime to see what she can capture. So I joined her.

I've added an extra of the Neowise comet. I really didn't feel like capturing the comet but I had purchased a counterweight for a star tracker I sometimes use. The counterweight offsets the weight of the longer lens (70-200) and stops the internal gears from being overloaded. I hope. The image was a stack of around 15 images each with a 30 second exposure. I was very impressed by how well the tracker did in stopping the stars from trailing.

The image itself is not great though. I should have made the effort to get out somewhere with less light pollution. Doing that would of helped with getting something in the foreground. Oh well next time lol
