Feeding frenzy

Yesterday evening the jackdaws, rooks and crows descended on mass onto the fields behind our house after the barley had been harvested. When something disturbed them (possibly me) they rose into the air with a cacophony of cries.
Pilates this morning followed by playing duets with Bill online. I haven't played my soprano saxophone for a long time so it was great to get it out and play Bach, Handel, Purcell and Telemann with Bill's clarinets. A change from our usual jazz offerings. 
It warmed up as the day progressed so the afternoon was spent doing more weeding.
