Food for bees

A wonderful hot summers day - at last! Almost too hot to do anything, but managed to continue with the weeding of the grid paths around the vegetable beds. It is a hands and knees task that is slow and painstaking. I am thinking that we might resort to a weed-killer from now on as it takes so long and is impossible to remove all the roots. The bees enjoy feeding on the alliums and I enjoy the seed heads (see extra photo.)
