Round Trip

A day of two halves.  Fabulous summer weather (too hot) for our family train trip this morning, ice creams were enjoyed, morphed into dull, damp, grey and cool by 6pm.

Super to be back on board from Tywyn to Nant Gwernol.  Everything went smoothly with the running of the trains under the new social distancing strategy, 'Steam Safe.'   With booking by compartment and alternate compartments unused the whole experience was very civilised.  For a special day out, do come and visit the Talyllyn Railway, the world's first preserved steam railway, the railway with a Heart of Gold!
