Life through the lens...

Reaching for the sky.

Bronze Fennel. I planted it so that I could use the fronds in fish dishes, but have actually never used it. I do however like the flowers which grow tall in amongst the rest of the border.
As you can see we have had blue sky this afternoon. Much cooler, which suits me .

This morning we had quite a few phone calls. Nice to catch up with friends and family.
Especially our friends who are just back from France where they have been looking at campsites. They are hoping to buy one and move there permanently. However as yet haven’t found what they want.
Right site, wrong location, or vice versa. May have to rethink their plans.

Hope you have had an enjoyable weekend.
I think the weather is going to be O K for the coming week.
Can’t believe it is August already. Where has the year gone? Mainly at home going nowhere!

Nice to see Captain Sir Tom Moore was given the Freedom of Keighley yesterday, and a plaque unveiled in his honour.
A very low key affair because of the new lockdown in the area. They didn’t want crowds of people lining the streets.
However he was able to attend the civic reception. Social distancing of course!
