It's another banded demoiselle ....

... so it must be Pensthorpe.

We had arranged to meet my brother and some of his family at their holiday let in Lyng late in the afternoon, so decided to combine that with another trip to Pensthorpe.

There were a lot of cars in the car park, so we were a bit concerned about how crowded it would be.  There were lots of people picnicking in the near reaches of the park, but once we got to the far side, it was absolutely fine.  Loads of birds on the feeders in the woods.  Lots of waterfowl.  Lots of dragons - but not many of them close enough to photograph.

This banded demoiselle sat still with its wings open on its leaf for long enough for me to find it with the camera, and get a few shots.

We then had a lovely couple of hours sitting outside their holiday cottage, chatting to my brother and sister-in-law, with their elder son and his family, but I didn't take any photos.

So even though I photographed a banded demoiselle last time we were at Pensthorpe, it just had to be today's blip as well.
