Knobson

The "Gainsborough" make of door knobs is the best engineered solution I've seen - no screws through the baseplate and no reliance on having a connecting bar with holes of exactly the right length.

For reasons I can't fathom they are no longer made, nor have I found an equivalent, so I've been scouring eBay for old stock, etc.  I was looking white ones but a batch of these came up and we thought why not?

I've got to get a fair bit of paint off the other baseplates (which is frustrating because a great benefit of these is that they detach trivially for decorating).
