South Stack

The sun was shining as we left Beaumaris this morning to head North but by the time we were on the other side of Menai Bridge it was overcast and drizzling and it stayed much the same once we arrived at South Stack. Not the blue skies that we had for our last visit  and, whilst the position is impressive, the lack of contrasting stripes are a bit of a miss. (I think it looks better with red and white stripes.)

Lunch a little further around the coast at Porth Dafarch before we headed back to Beaumaris. Bailey and I sat in the garden for a while and Mum and I played Banagrams (2-0 to her) and cards - once we had reminded ourselves of the rules. A walk down to the front once we had had our tea and a plan to get packed up this evening as we need to be out by 9am tomorrow so that the cleaning can be done thoroughly. We found out today that we are the first occupants this year and we have certainly appreciated it.
