AOG Day 7

“Thanks for joining us this afternoon. We have a full event schedule to get to so I’d like to take a moment to recap this morning’s exciting gold medal Endurance Race performance. It was a beautiful morning at Squash Blossom Stadium. Temperatures were cool and dry, perfect conditions for one of the most challenging competitions in these AOG games. Each athlete entered the stadium without any climbing or safety gear. It was just them vs. the elements. Each demonstrated their physical conditioning, overall endurance and prowess, all while being monitored and timed by our Field Judges. Congratulations to the Striped Cucumber Beetle for outshining all other competitors today. She trekked deep in to the cavern of the stadium over difficult fibrous terrain. Conquering the Blossom floor, she adeptly climbed the smooth Stadium wall, demonstrating great balance across its ledge before collapsing at the finish line, exhausted, but exuberant. This amazing Beetle beat her closest competitor by .04 seconds! It was truly a gold medal performance!”
