Uig chessman King skin

We’ve enjoyed another fun day on the Isle of Lewis. The highlight was a visit to the workshop where 2 foot replica Uig chessmen are made. Mr hazelh and I chose a king and queen with such care that you’d think that we were picking out a puppy. My blip shows one of the latex skins that are used to mould the pieces.

Dinner at the Uig Sands restaurant was wonderful  again - as were my two wins at Carcassonne!

Exercise today: a little walking (7,936 steps).
