Dying?

I fully intended to capture lightning for my blip today, but when it arrived and oh boy did it arrive, only sheet lightning was seen and that really doesn't make for an interesting photograph.

Unfortunately, I'd only taken a couple of other photographs all day, including this record shot of our very sad looking Photinia 'Red Robin'.  Whether it has gone forever, I can't be sure.  The leaf bud at the top of the branch might suggest there's life in the plant yet, but only time will tell.
