Compton Verney

We caught up on some admin type jobs this morning before setting off after lunch for a ride to Compton Verney where we had a nice walk including a diversion through the wildflower meadow.  As previously the place was alive with butterflies and bees even though a lot of the flowers are past their best.

This is, I think, a cabbage white on one of the last flowering knapweed plants.  A flower for Flower Friday hosted by Biker Bear and a wild flower for WildFlower Week hosted by Miranda1008 and a butterfly for everyone!
