Convolved

I have put a lot of effort into trying to eradicate these from the garden but I must admit they are stunning in a big open space. This is Aston's Eyot where daughter and I went for a walk this evening and which is filled with convolvulus, nettles, brambles and ivy.

I'm glad I'm not part of the British stampede out of France this evening. I get the impression that in order to protect us all from Covid-19, thousands of people deemed to be at higher risk of having it are being socially-distance-crammed onto ferries...

And had you heard that alongside the mass downgrading of A level results, the number of A and A* grades in private schools rose by 4.7 points? Not one A level result downgraded at Eton. So that's all right then.
