Cardinals

The bald headed cardinal was hanging around all day today as well as her friend who is a little scruffy looking.   I was able to get a close up shot of Baldy so that I could see her head feathers seem to be coming back in.  

Maybe she had her head shaved for the summer to cope with the heat!    

One of those days today that I was busy all day but don't feel like I accomplished anything.     

And my pear preserves from yesterday were put in jars last night so I have four jars for future eating!   I could hear the little lids popping so I know they are sealed up good.  They won't last long as  I think they might be used on some pancakes soon!
