Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus)

Time for a change from flowers!   So a shot of a this years fledgeling Blue Tit queueing for its turn at the feeders.  They don't as yet have the full colours of an adult, which may have something to do with the fact birds see ultra violet unlike humans.   It is known the front of an adults head glows brightly in UV.  It is thought this has much to do with the females choosing mates.

The day was a quiet one at home.  Clickychick continued her running even though she has very successfully completed her Couch to 5K.
