Arriving on the North York Moors

Lots of traffic and diversions on our way to the North York Moors last Friday.  We’d driven from home on a lovely afternoon and it was still sunny as we left Hutton le Hole, but these clouds were definitely ominous and we were soon driving through thick mist and rain before descending down into a valley of doom as we took the steep descent into Danby Dale - we couldn’t see a thing.  And then the cloud stayed with us!
