Not more tomatoes

Another busy day in the kitchen, 5lbs of tomatoes prepared and roasted for sauce , 1kilo cucumbers sliced and salted ready for more bread and butter pickle. 

Mr PC not very happy with the tomato yield this year - the worst ever.

We still managed a couple of walks with the doggies.

On our way out this morning we saw our neighbour who told us her daughter and son- in -law had been on holiday in France, they just made the ferry before the quarantine deadline.

On our afternoon walk another neighbour who works at the clock cafe gave us a bag of scones, reputed to be the best in Scarborough.
