Happy Family

We often talk about the railway community as a family, it's got it's share of eccentric aunts and uncles but it's a strong and supportive community.  As I sat eating my (late) lunch chatting to a young volunteer engine cleaner I spotted her Mum and Dad .... and thought "How better to illustrate the Talyllyn family?" 

So here they are, just a few minutes before the 315 departure pictured in extras.   Both are qualified engine drivers btw :-)
