ROOM WITH A VIEW

Well that was our view from the Bay View Garden Centre today where Hubby, G and I took Mum for a spot of lunch.

The food was lovely, the covid-19 precautions were OK but only OK.  Inside the cafe was fine, but queueing outside (not a long queue and not for a long time) there were no distancing lines put down, this meant that I kept my distance to stay in the queue which was promptly filled by someone and her dog without so much as an excuse me!!!  Also the Hostess met us that entrance and she had no mask on at all.  However all the waiting staff did and they cleansed absolutely everything down after every customer left.  The counter staff were behind perspex and there were markers down for queuing to order your food.

In the shop all customers were asked to wear masks, and everyone did but there were a couple who thought wearing one meant it was OK to wear it under your nose!!!  Also they touched and handled everything, we deliberately didn't touch a thing unless we were going to buy it.  Worse the staff came indoors without masks on - that is not good.  OK outside but inside they should put masks on.

So not a bad experience but not the best so I won't go back whilst Covid is still around.

Morecambe Prom was absolutely heaving - no social distancing whatsoever - at the far end of the prom it was fine but closer to the centre no-one seemed to bother at all - including sitting around having lunches.  Luckily we only drove past in the car so no problem for us.

For some reason today I woke up really tired - I had a good sleep but have been tired all day - really don't know why.  I'm fine just sleepy.  I'll probably wake up when it's time to go to bed LOL!!   Ahh well it happens occasionally so it doesn't matter.
