The world is their Oyster

The exam results have been such a fiasco.
Seeing this amazing mural, I so hope all the young things out there, find the opportunity to emerge stronger from this strange period, and get out to explore the world.

Today - sandwiched between yesterday’s heavy rain, and tomorrow’s yellow wind warning - was wonderful. 20C, bright, blue skies, nice breeze.

12,000 steps. Walked on the Overcliff (3 goats out), via Boscombe Gardens, and enjoyed a, vegan brunch (excellent) and cider at Urban Beach Hotel (of Four in a Bed fame, Brits will know the series). Been there many times, but had never noticed the mural (see a view of the entire wall in extras).

Back via the back street. Stopped to talk to Molly, a 3 year old doggie. Ended up chatting to her owner, who we found had been married to a Sicilian and loved Italian food. She ended up giving me a bag of her homegrown tomatoes. Expect we’ll stop to chat with her again when we pass.

So let’s see what tomorrow brings weatherwise. Thanks to Ingeborg for today’s Abstract Thursday challenge ‘Landscape’.
