Flower Friday (Friday 21st August 2020)

I found this hawkweed growing on the Old Forge driveway. I don't know which kind but apparently there are about 10,000 different species and each have various common names. After looking up over 9,500 of them* without identifying which I decided perhaps you didn't really need to know ;-).
Woody Thursday took place yesterday and a green waste bin was filled for today's collection, but there wasn't a lot for Refna to do and she left in the early afternoon. No pictures were taken.
Road surfacing work continues 1800-0000 hr for another week, but I believe not at the weekend.
With thanks to Biker Bear for Flower Friday and to Miranda1008 for Wild Flower Week, and also for ID-ing the plant as 'Silver Ragwort' (senecio cineraria).

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Temptations - The Way You Do The Things You Do (recorded 9 January 1964, Hitsville, Detroit MI)
My latest acquisition is a collection of 5 Classic Albums by the Temptations, cardboard-sleeved replicas housed in a slipcase, each CD of an original album costing about £2. It arrived earlier this evening, and the first CD, The Temptations Sing Smokey, opens with this single, which was also included on Meet The Temptations. Eddie Kendricks is the lead tenor vocalist, and it was written and produced by Smokey Robinson.
