The Intricacy of Nature

A day of cleaning and DIY, so much so that the first time I picked up a camera was nearly 8 pm.  No sunset to capture so, as any good blipper will do, I looked around for an emergency blip.

I'm sure you will guess what this is, but I was fascinated when its structure came into view through a macro lens.
