Digging up the roots

Of two sowings of carrot seed this summer, only two seeds germinated. These carrots are the roots of those two seedlings. The beetroot fared a little better, though these are very small, grown in pots. Some are still in the ground having produced more leaf than root so far. The teeny spuds are the last from the stick-'em-in-soil-and-see-what-happens Lidl sprouting potatoes. Together they seemed to offer a Silly Saturday blipportunity, before we eat them with chicken salad.
