Mixed seasons

A pleasant short walk today, though I only clocked up 12 active minutes as I stopped to pick blackberries. Soon after collecting over 250g (nearly 9 ozs) of fruit, ripening in full sun, I passed this branch of blackberry blossom on the shady side of the lane. It will probably never reach the fruiting stage.
