Still Buzzing

Good to still see bees buzzing around the lavender, but I'll be very glad when the drunk and anti-social wasps have gone so I can get on with work in the garden. A quiet day today, some cleaning and re-hanging pictures and then I watched a couple of films.

UK deaths up 18 to 41,423 (revised basis), with new daily cases up by 1,288 and 834 patients in hospital. Total cases to date in India pass 3m. New daily cases in Italy pass 1k for the first time since lockdown was eased in mid May, the increase is thought to be due to travelers returning from holidays and nightlife. The Mayor of Greater Manchester blames the lack of Govt financial support & job protection for those self isolating for its failure. The DVSA website for booking driving tests has closed for maintenance after it crashed following 7m applications in 12 hours after it had been closed for months due to lockdown.
