Red Admirals

We had a lot of rain overnight and more this morning. It did clear up later on and it wasn't long until the butterflies were back on the buddleia. I'm looking forward to better weather next week. 

Day 524 / Day 35 of Step 4 of Roadmap Easing (for my record only)
From Tues, over 18s will be able to opt in to an antibody testing programme when receiving a PCR test. Up to 8,000 a day of those testing positive will be sent 2 finger prick antibody tests which they'll complete at home and return, the first asap and the second 28 days later. The aim being to amass data on antibody protection for different variants. A good programme, but I'm surprised it's taken this long to set one up and I'm bemused by why data isn't being sought to specifically look at protection in those who potentially will not benefit in full from the vaccine due to their medical condition as the current data appears quite vague.
