A Day Worth Recording

The Cambridge Connection

I've been hanging some of our pictures in the hall now that the decor suits it.  (When the fake Georgian panels were papered they didn't really suit adding pictures).

This is one of my favourites - a print of a watercolour 'pan' of the shop buildings of King's Parade in Cambridge, by Hilary Hamilton.  A glorious jumble of buildings, each wildly different above the level of the shop front.

To complete the Cambridge connection, we've just taken a booking from someone who lived around the corner from us there and who's moving to Malvern, and although we didn't know them then it seems we have a number of mutual friends!
