Jenga bales

I had to laugh as I walked up the path towards this trailer with its precariously perched bales, and hung around long enough to see the tractor come out of the barn, expertly pick them up with the forklift and transfer them inside.  They reminded me of playing Jenga.

They were busy collecting up the rest of them as I strolled along the top of the ridge, in what I can only describe as a chilly morning.

We are going down to the pub for dinner this evening, with friends.  It will be the first meal out since February or early March.
