Sold!

A trip over the border today to meet with some of my siblings and see Mum. Three of us made a trip up to Mums house, aired it out, cut down some stray ivy and organised an estate agent to come out next week to value it ready to go on the market. 

Then it was an afternoon spent cleaning at eldest son’s house as his sale completes tomorrow. Cooker gutted; kitchen cupboards cleaned; fridge freezer cleaned and de-iced; en-suite gutted and downstairs loo sorted! He hoovered and mopped all the floors after loading up both vehicles with his belongings. Luckily my youngest sister popped in and offered to help so she did the base cupboards whilst I was sorting the fridge freezer or we might have been camped out for the night to get it finished!

The only photo I’ve taken all day is of him as he’d locked up for the final time...he’s been desperate to get back to Scotland to live but he did admit to feeling a little sad at leaving! Tomorrow the Bank of Mops and Pops will be relieved to finally be repaid the loan we gave him to build the house!
