Latest 'thing'

The last few days we've been painting in the hallway and up the stairs, takes a lot longer than it used to when we were younger but if we get this done it should last a good few more years!
Along with that Marlane decided she'd like to highlight the lovely handles and hinges on the 'Old Charm' and Linen Fold furniture that we have. I took this photograph of the bureau and cabinet in the dining room, although on second thoughts the hinges on the dresser are more ornate but it's getting late and I've already taken this one.
she's using a silver wax, it's very striking when you consider they were dull and dark and now they look bright and vibrant.
