Flower Friday.....Verbena

What a day of contrasts! A beautiful morning sunny and mild, and an afternoon of massive torrential downpours, flooding the roads and pavements within minutes! Glad I wasn't out in them. Very happy to see a few butterflies, mainly the cabbage whites and some bees still visiting the garden this morning, goodness knows how they survive this rain now though?
I didn't hang about for long, work continues on the 'garden room,'  a lot of cutting of paving slabs today and electricity for lights and tv point being installed ...........!!
