Stairs

Today's theme for MonoMonday is stare or stair, so it's pretty obvious which I went with. These lovely curving stairs lead up to Lake Park, which sits up on the bluffs looking over Lake Michigan. The Lake is behind me, to the East. The park was developed by noted Landscape Architect Frederick Law Olmsted in 1892 & has been essentially unchanged since it was first built. The Lake was looking exceptionally beautiful with a brisk breeze from the East causing some nice waves, so I've included a couple of pictures in the extras. I drove down to the Lakefront to take these after Tom had his labs drawn, and we have to go back shortly as he needs some platelets.
