Newly opened; Day 26

Not 26 days since this Little and Friday cafe opened on Ponsonby Road. Today is the 26th day since Auckland went into lockdown, and from tomorrow we will not be in that middle ground between minor restrictions (Level 2) and the lock down. For a week we have been at Level 2.5, the number of new cases each day is low, and while care is needed, things can function more normally.

Little and Friday was opened a few years ago in Belmont, and before Covid had four cafes. They have consolidated to two two sites, one in Newmarket and this one, the most recently opened. 

Today is also Fathers Day in New Zealand , and our daughters accompanied S and me to The Tasting Shed out west. A really nice and relaxed early evening meal.
