Gills

In these days of Covid we have to maximise blip opportunities, so these are the gills of the mushroom I blipped two days ago and picked yesterday. More work in the garden today, slow but steady progress. Then I watched the film Midway which I enjoyed, especially the cinematography.

UK deaths up 2 to 41,551 (revised basis), with new daily cases up by 2,988 (a 65% increase on yesterday and the highest since 22 May although now over twice as many tests are being carried out) and 756 patients in hospital. The sharp rise in new cases is again reported as being caused by younger adults, but Matt Hancock warned that this could lead to rises across the population as a whole. Globally cases passed 27m last night, up 1m in 3 days.
