Coffee and Klimt

After a sunny start, the clouds arrived. So we weren’t tempted to rush out. Made hummus and my first attempt at flatbreads.

Had a (huge) plate of mezze, with a flatbread, for lunch. Freezer falafel I made a while ago, my hummus, grilled tomatoes, dolmades (courtesy of E, leftover last night), kalamata olives, Mr B’s peperonata (marinated peppers). A veritable feast

Went out at 3pm. Coffee in the ‘garden’ at Cotea, see blip. First time we’ve been out the back, a recent innovation.

Then drove to Southbourne and a stroll on the clifftop to Boscombe and back. Saw the goats*, at the back of the Honeycombe Chine Apartments, close up for the first time. Residents there pay a charge towards their maintenance. Their role is to keep the grass down, and they were the inspiration for the recent introduction of the lovely East Cliff Goats. *See the extra.

Home at 6pm. And got my duvet out. Feeling colder now.
