Mono Monday: Over and Under

Ok, it's a push, but as it was a garden shot today I though my 'cat' going under and over the hebes would do. I had planned a job today, but rain this morning and windy this afternoon delayed that. Instead I did my tax return and a bit more digging.

Djokovic definitely deserved being disqualified from the US open last night for smacking a ball in frustration after losing his serve and hitting a line judge in the throat. The men's singles is wide open now. Now watching a thrilling final set of the Williams / Sakkari match - a repeat of a very recent match that Sakkari won.

Day 176 / Full Day 168 of Lockdown / Day 66 of Step 3 (for my record only)
UK deaths up 3 to 41,554 (revised basis), with new daily cases up by 2,948 and 756 patients in hospital. At w/e 7/9 there were 14,227 new cases (9,259 prev wk) which is 21.3 cases per 100k and above the Govt threshold for considering quarantining those coming in from abroad. Individual islands rather than whole countries will be considered for quarantine going forward, unfortunately this means 7 Greek islands have been added to England's list. A new lockdown in Caerphilly starts tomorrow at 6pm and two more areas around Glasgow have been given restrictions. Pizza Express plans to close dozens of restaurants, putting 1.100 jobs at risk. Two England footballers have breached quarantine guidelines and have been sent home.
