By the beach

I think I got four hours of sleep last night. My alarm which has been malfunctioning all summer long has suddenly come back to life, which is very useful. G's day started a whole hour earlier. She got there on time. :)

I came home via Spinney's and managed a couple of hours at my computer. G got treated to a homemade picnic on the beach today. The first time in months. It was way too hot though and the car struggled to stay cool, so we didn't hang around. I took this picture before we left. There's more construction (another resort) on the other side of the beach.

The rest of the afternoon and evening flew. G worked out her timetable so she has all of Tuesday off.
